Searching for other writers is always a joy. The hope of stumbling across someone’s words that instill in me a feeling other than what I’m feeling is magical.

Off chance, I clicked on The Moth Magazine and was drooling over their retreat, which is in a beautiful location outside of Cavan Town in Ireland. Afterward, I crossed paths with a delightful poet.

I read this poem and instantly felt what was being conveyed. I wanted my morning to talk to me so.

I hope you take a moment to read the poem—a sweet gift for the middle of the afternoon.

Sermon in the Kitchen by Wessie du Toit.
